What sizes do the pillows come in?
Our cowhide pillows come in 12" x 22", 16" x 16" and 20" x 20".
Is an insert included?
No. The price is for the cover. The insert is an optional extra: add one on the pillow's own product page while you are ordering, or buy it on its own.
There are two kinds. A standard polyester insert is $9.99 — soft, supportive, and it holds its shape. A down insert is $17.99 and is softer, moulding more to the room. Both come in 12" x 22", 16" x 16" and 20" x 20".
What size insert do I need?
Order the insert named for your pillow size. A 16" x 16" pillow takes the 16" x 16" insert.
Our inserts are cut a little fuller than the cover, which is what plumps the corners out instead of leaving them looking flat. That is already allowed for in the size on the label, so there is no need to size up yourself.
Can I use an insert I already have?
Yes. Every cowhide pillow has a discreet zipper along one seam, so an insert goes in, comes out, or gets swapped for a firmer or softer one whenever you like. Anything in the matching size will fit.
Our sheepskin and Tibetan lamb pillows are covers too, and take an insert the same way.
