What is Shop Pay? Is that you?

Shop Pay is Shopify’s accelerated checkout, offered across many stores on the Shopify platform, and ours is one of them. It saves your payment and delivery details so you can check out in a couple of taps.

It is not us, and it is not a scam. The charge on your statement is still from Cowhides Direct. Using it is entirely optional.

How do I check out without using Shop Pay?

Scroll past it. Shop Pay sits at the top of the checkout page, which makes it look like the only way through, but the ordinary card fields are directly underneath.

On a product page, use Add to Cart rather than the Shop Pay buy button, and you will reach the standard checkout where you can pay however you like.

Shop Pay used my old address. How do I change it?

This is the one worth understanding, because it repeats until you fix it at the source. Shop Pay fills in the address it has saved for you, and that can override what you typed at our checkout. If the saved address is one you moved away from, that is where the parcel goes.

Correct it at shop.app, not just at our checkout. That is your Shop Pay account, so the fix applies to every store you use it with, not only ours.

If the order has not shipped yet, tell us and we will change the address on our side too.

Shop Pay charged the wrong card

We cannot change the payment method on an order once it is placed. If it has not shipped, we can cancel it so you can reorder with the right card. If it has already shipped, the card change has to go through Shop Pay or your bank.

I used Shop Pay and did not get my free gift

Enter one eligible code at checkout. Applying a gift code automatically adds its gift to your cart; reaching a spending threshold without entering a code does not add a gift. Choose one offer per order. Codes cannot be stacked and gifts are not cumulative. Check that the gift and code appear before completing Shop Pay checkout.

If you forgot the gift code, contact our team with your order number. If your subtotal meets its minimum and the order has not shipped, the team can add the gift free. If it has shipped, a physical gift can still be sent within 7 days of the order, with $9.99 shipping. Only one code applies per order.
